Katherine Mostek (she/her/hers) is a writer, researcher, designer, and administrator with a strong passion for the performing arts. A recent graduate of Kenyon College, where Katherine concentrated in English and Drama, the majority of her work in the theatre is centered around amplifying the voices of queer artists. Through both her administrative and creative work, Katherine strives to create an equitable and accessible landscape for all artists and audience members alike.
As a stage and production manager, her work has been featured at Polaris North Theater, The Players Theater, and The Chain Theater, through the SheNYC One-Act Festival. Additionally, Katherine has worked with both Playdate Theater and People's Light and Theater on creating post-Covid structures to help support their transition into and out of the world of virtual theatre and programming.
Katherine has also had the pleasure of working as a programs coordinator for Hearts of Gold, Inc., a nonprofit centered around supporting unhoused women and children as they work to move out of the New York City shelter system by providing job training opportunities and essential goods to ease the burden of their transition. In 2023, Katherine helped to serve over 1,100 mothers and children through coordinating and fundraising for multiple events throughout the year.
