ADC Consulting worked to program, facilitate, and project manage the 2023 Virtual National Dance Presenters Forum, and has joined Jacob’s Pillow for the execution of the 2024 Virtual National Dance Presenters Forum
What Is The National Dance Presenters Forum?
The National Dance Presenters Forum (NDPF) is one of the only spaces for presenters and curators from dance venues all across the country to get together, learn from each other, and sharpen their practice in a peer-to-peer learning environment.
Typically held in person as a retreat during Jacob’s Pillow’s annual dance festival—the largest and longest-running dance festival in the US—the forum went on hiatus as a result of the pandemic through 2022. In 2023, the forum returned as a virtual engagement for 2023 to engage in a research process and gather a new cohort of presenters to better understand their needs, and will apply those learnings to the 2024 Virtual National Dance Presenters Forum.
ADC Consulting’s current work on the project consists of:
Presenting findings from the 2023 Virtual NDPF at the 2024 APAP conference.
Curating, facilitating, and producing six digital sessions to connect presenters to the forum and one another
Overseeing the project management infrastructure of the 2024 Virtual NDPF digital sessions.
Guiding a steering committee of four lead organization’s (Jacob’s Pillow, New England Foundation for the Arts, Dance/USA, and Association for Performing Arts Professionals) to ensure collective design and outcomes.
Delivering a report articulating recommendations and next steps for the 2025 NDPF based on attendee feedback and engagement during 2024 NDPF.

Applications for presenters for the 2024 Virtual National Dance Presenters Forum (NDPF) is now available on the website: www.jacobspillow.org/ndpf. Applications will be accepted from now through Monday, March 18, 2024 by 5:00 p.m. ET. Eighteen participants will be selected to participate. Participants will be notified in early April. Note: Please write to ndpf@jacobspillow.org for a copy of the recording of the info session from February 7, 2024, or if you have any questions.
